Dr. Lee and Mrs. Ann Liberman’s leadership, compassion, and dedication have touched many lives and had a lasting impact at Washington University and throughout the St. Louis community. It is in their honor that we are pleased to announce the Inaugural Liberman Leadership Awards. These awards are designed to recognize and highlight the remarkable leadership of Washington University graduate and professional students and student organizations.

Leadership Credential

The Graduate Leadership Credential can be earned by graduate and professional students through participation in leadership programming, the creation of leadership development initiatives and serving as a student leader. Participating students will enhance their communication skills, hone their professionalism, and strengthen their strategic capabilities to better serve their objectives in graduate school and prepare for the transition to post-graduate opportunities.

Want to help shape the student experience for the graduate and professional student community at Washington University in St. Louis, while also honing your own leadership skills? The Leadership Development Initiative (LDI) offers the opportunity for students to advance projects that promote leadership development among the larger graduate and professional student population.

Leadership Seminar Series

The Leadership Seminar Series offers quarterly leadership development opportunities for the executive boards of graduate and professional student groups. Essential to being a successful leader is knowledge of how to serve a variety of constituents and ensure that all voices are heard, maintain a clear and inviting public presence, and create programming that encourages others to engage.
