Graduate Citings is a venue for graduate students to learn what others are doing across campus, promoting opportunities for interdisciplinary work. The abstracts below are intended to shine a spotlight on the excellent and innovative work of our Graduate Students, among all disciplines at Washington University.
It is very important to publish work on an academic and scientific level. But those publications only get highlighted within a specific field. By promoting this work online it will be acknowledged by others outside of the writer's discipline.
The goal is to promote graduate student work that appears in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. The submissions are curated by an editorial panel consisting of a Washington University staff science writer, senior graduate student, and the Graduate School communications coordinator.
